If you are selling your textbooks this semester here are some things to keep in mind:

1. Textbooks go out of edition
You might be thinking to yourself that it might be a good idea to hold on to your used textbooks and try to sell them to students taking the same course next year. Although this sounds ideal in a perfect world, there are many factors that can leave you stuck with useless textbooks. Make sure you are aware if the textbook is going to be offered next year and that the textbook edition will remain the same.

2. Keep your textbooks in the best possible condition you can
If you spent $100s buying textbooks at the beginning of the semester, make sure to treat them like gold (since they are certainly priced that way!). The better the condition of your used textbooks means that you will be able to sell them for a high price. It is always a good idea to look into plastic textbook covers to protect the cover of your textbook against spills, stains, and whatever else life at university or college throws at you.

3. Sell your textbooks early!
Most often, the sooner you sell your textbooks, the more money you will receive.

4. Donate your textbooks
Although you may not want to hear this, your textbooks may become worthless. Donating your textbooks means that you will be putting them to good use. Textbookrental.ca accepts donated textbooks. When needed, we send these donated textbooks to children in need in other places in the world. Textbookrental.ca properly recycles any textbooks that are completely worthless making sure that mother nature is protected.
